Who am I?

I’m a 60-year-old mom to one amazing grown daughter, and someone who has spent most of my life caring for others. I worked as a Developmental Services Worker for over 20 years before eventually moving into tech support call centres, partly because life decided to hand me a few mobility challenges along the way. Shortly after high school, I developed foot drop from what appears to have been a bacterial infection. Over the years, my symptoms slowly progressed, and by 2016 I was using a walker to safely get to and from work. Life looked a little different than I expected, and let’s just say it definitely taught me patience, resilience, and how to laugh when things don’t go according to plan. 😝 In early 2023, I stepped away from work and moved to Northern Ontario to live with my sister. My daughter stayed in Southern Ontario, building a life she loves, while I found myself entering a completely new season of life, one that I definitely did not feel prepared for.

Why can I help you?

What I didn’t expect was how deeply that transition would affect me emotionally. Losing my routine, my work identity, and daily time with my daughter left me feeling untethered. I bounced somewhere between discouragement, “trying to figure myself out,” and signing up for enough network marketing opportunities to practically earn a participation ribbon. 😅 Then in late 2024, sciatic pain led me to discover Dr. Sarno’s work and the concept of TMS, the connection between unresolved emotions, stress, fear, and physical pain. Instead of obsessing over my symptoms, I began focusing on healing emotionally and strengthening my relationship with God. As I worked through buried emotions, fear, gratitude, faith, and mindset shifts, something remarkable happened. My pain began to improve. That experience completely changed the direction of my life and sparked a passion to help others who feel stuck physically, emotionally, or spiritually. That journey eventually led me to study through the MindBodyFood Institute in Australia so I could better support others walking through similar struggles.

What has changed?

Today, I’m a Bible-based Holistic Life Coach and MindBody Practitioner. I help Christian empty-nesters and retirees rediscover purpose, rebuild hope, and work through emotional stress that may be contributing to chronic pain and exhaustion.  My approach is grounded in faith, gratitude, emotional healing, and reconnecting with our identity in Christ, because sometimes healing starts long before the body catches up.  I’m also currently working on a 365-day devotional and companion gratitude journal designed to encourage people through life’s difficult transitions with honesty, humour, faith, and hope.
